Zalozhnykh Kateryna

Kateryna Zalozhnykh is HR Director at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih.

She holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from Kryvyi Rih Economic Institute of Kyiv National Economic University and is also a graduate of Kyiv-Mohyla Business School in People Management.

She has over 14 years of HR experience, having grown from an intern to a senior leadership role. Since 2023, she has led the company’s HR department.

Under her leadership, key HR transformations have been implemented, including improvements in HR efficiency, the launch of learning and development programs, veteran reintegration initiatives, recruitment transformation in times of workforce shortages, partnerships with educational institutions, and the implementation of a dual education project “New Factory” in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. She also leads the company’s Corporate University.
