Dmytrashkivskyi Oleksii

Head of Communications Department, Territorial Defense Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (TDF Media), Co-founder of the Veterans Theatre

Oleksii Dmytrashkivskyi was born on March 14, 1973. In 1994 he graduated from the Kyiv Institute of Air Force with a specialization as a Junior Aviation Specialist (R95Sh system). In 2006 he graduated from Chernihiv State Pedagogical University with a degree in Practical Psychology.

In 2014 he headed the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) press center and became the first official spokesperson of the ATO.

From 2006 to 2022 he worked in the film and media industry, including at FILM.UA, StarMedia, and StarLightMedia.

In December 2022, during his military service, he founded the TDF Media unit, bringing together servicemen with professional backgrounds in cinema, theatre, and journalism. Under his leadership, the team has produced more than 15 documentary films.

He is also a co-founder of the Veterans Theatre project, whose mission is to support veterans’ recovery through culture and art. The theatre provides opportunities for active servicemen and veterans to express themselves creatively through writing, acting, and professional education with directors, playwrights, and theatre and film experts.
