Vlaschenko Natalia
Natalia Vlaschenko taught history of arts in Zhytomyr State Pedagogical Institute. She worked as the drama expert in the Zhytomyr Drama Theatre named after Ivan Kocherha. She also worked as the deputy editor of the Ukrainian newspaper «Today». In 1999 Ms. Vlaschenko founded the «Forzats» («Flyleaf») Publishing House which publishes such popular Ukrainian magazines as «People in the Public Eye» and «The Face of Ukraine» and books of the «People in the Public Eye» library. Currently Ms. Vlaschenko is the editor in chief and the publisher of «People in the Public Eye» magazine. She is an advocate of commercially successful media. She is sure that it is the only way to independence. She also thinks that the main mission of journalism is educating. Together with Yevhen Minko, she wrote the book «Dialogues of Animals» in 2011; the book makes jocular references to peculiarities of the Ukrainian society and the Ukrainian media. In 2015, she wrote the book «We Had Sex» (co-authored with Garik Korogodskiy).
