In 2002, together with his partner Andrew Kolpakov founded analytical group Da Vinci AG (Da Vinci AG), which is engaged in services of government agencies and parliamentary committees, providing analytical and GR-support for their activities. Anatoly Baronin specializes in international relations, foreign policy, national security and macroeconomy.

Six years has worked in the department of politics of the «Korrespondent» magazine, author of journalistic investigations and political reportings. Led a popular blog on korrespondent.net. In November 2013 resigned from the magazine with the team of Vitaliy Sych and closed the blog on a site. Author and a journalist of the project – «Elyudi».
